The City Museum in St. Louis is not a museum by most definitions. It’s a huge playground for children as much as (if not more) for adults. You can climb through pipes hung from the ceiling, slide down a three-story tall slide made from old conveyor belt rollers, hide out in dark caves. They also have a few nights a year with live local bands all over the building and beer. Apparently they now have the world’s largest pencil:
Every city should have a City Museum.
